Yoga 6 week Beginner’s Course
“Yoga is the journey of the Self, through the Self, to the Self”. The Bhagavad Gita
The Absolute Beginner’s course at Balance Yoga is recommended for students of all ages. This comprehensive six-week course is designed to introduce participants to the basic principles and practices of yoga. The teachers at Balance Yoga provide the highest teaching standards to all our students.
Course starts Thursday, 6 August.
Time: 6.15pm to 7.15pm.
Class 1 – The Basics; Introduction to Sun Salutations, Introduction to Vinyasa, Introduction to Pranayama
Class 2 – Standing Poses
Class 3 – Gentle Backbends and Seated & Supine Twists
Class 4 – Core Poses and Hip-Openers
Class 5 – Balance Poses and Forward Bends
Class 6 – Revisiting Twists, Foundation to Meditation, Introduction to Restorative Yoga.
You’ll need to bring your own mat!
